“Re-Animator” auteurs Stuart Gordon and Dennis Paoli dip once more into the oeuvre of horror master H.P. Lovecraft, in this terrifying tale. When their yacht crashes on a reef, a young couple (Ezra Godden, Raquel Meroño) becomes trapped in a strange fishing village on the Spanish coast where the bizarre locals seem to have an inhuman link to a long dormant sea god. Returning home from the Vietnam War, Steve Michaelis (Christopher George) not only finds his brother has been robbed and killed, but he’s been falsely accused of the crimes. He turns to socialite and ex-girlfriend Rita Armstrong (Tippi Hedren) for help, and together they must put their own lives at risk as they attempt to catch the real murderer and clear Steve’s name. Dean Jagger, Glenda Farrell, and Charo also star in this fast-moving thriller.
Larry Burrows (James Belushi) believes that if he hadn’t struck out during a high school championship baseball game, his entire life would have been better.
