Irving Berlin’s musical trip through the calendar features the Oscar-winning film debut of “White Christmas,” and stars Bing Crosby as a crooner who can’t shake the show biz bug so he turns his New England farm into a resort, but soon finds himself competing with hoofer Fred Astaire for a girl.
