Six Pix: Nuns

Six Pix presents a sextet of movie posters representing a particular actor/director/genre. You pick the one you feel is visually the most artistic or best sums up the film.

How many of these Six Pix do you like? (If you answered “nun” you must say 3 Hail Mary’s.)

Six Sisters

Included are: The White Sister (1923); The Nun’s Story (1959); The Singing Nun (1966); Sister Act (1992); The Town (2010); and La Religieuse (2013).

Since I write this column on a regular basis I’m in the habit of playing God, picking winner and losers. Lord knows it’s not easy this time because I wouldn’t want to offend Him. I mean, choosing a favorite Sister just doesn’t feel right! However, it’s my solemn duty to do so. With that in mind, I believe The White Sister, The Singing Nun and Sister Act are the most divine. Of that holy trinity it comes down to the pious White Sister and fun-loving Singing Nun. Ascending to the heavens is the colorful and whimsical poster for The Singing Nun. Can I get an Amen?

Which one do you think is the winner? Should I have included something else? Tell me about it below!
