Once again the box office was dominated by huge popcorn flicks &#8212; everything from superhero sagas (<em>Avengers: Endgame<\/em>, <em>Spider-Man: Far from Home<\/em>, etc) to sequels (<em>Frozen II<\/em>) to spin-offs (<em>Hobbs &#038; Shaw<\/em>). What many of these films lacked in terms of brand new characters and storylines they more than made up for in terms of sheer spectacle.
