That she overcame debuting in the 1976 remake of King Kong to become an audience favorite and take home not one, but two Academy Awards is a testament to the ability and appeal of Jessica Lange. From biodramas (Frances, Sweet Dreams) to thrillers (The Postman Always Rings Twice, Cape Fear) and more, the Minnesota-born model-turned-actress has also earned three Emmys and a Tony Award to go alongside her Best Supporting Actress and Best Actress Oscars for Tootsie and Blue Sky, respectively.
