This week’s Create-A-Caption focuses on 1998’s The Big Lebowski, a comedy about kidnapping, nihilism, the Gulf War, and bowling, courtesy of Joel and Ethan Coen. Jeff Bridges plays Jeff “The Dude” Lebowski, a middle-aged slacker whose gutterball existence is disturbed when crooks mistake him for a millionaire industrialist, also named Lebowski, whose wife owes them money. Soon the Dude and his bowling buddy (John Goodman) are mixed up in a complicated abduction scheme and a convoluted mystery.
