We told you earlier about Blade Runner‘s 35th anniversary, but another sci-fi classic that was also underappreciated at the time of its release is celebrating the same milestone: John Carpenter‘s The Thing. A remake of Howard Hawks’ 1951 production The Thing from Another World, Carpenter’s harrowing tale centers on a snowbound research team in Antarctica that encounters a vicious, shape-shifting alien organism. Cut off from the rest of the world, paranoia and mistrust begin to set in as the men realize any one of them could be the creature. To commemorate this anniversary, we’ve taken a scene from the film and added our own caption to it, we encourage you to do the same in the comments below. And remember, watch Clark.
