Six Pix presents a sextet of movie posters representing a particular actor/director/genre. You pick the one you feel is visually the most artistic or best sums up the film.
The art to these Six Pix is key.
Included are: Night Key (1937); The Glass Key (1942); Notorious (1946); The Key (1958); Psycho III (1986); and Hugo (2011).
We’re jingling & jangling six keys right in front of you; which one is the real eye-opener for you? Perhaps it’s the Karloff mystery Night Key. Or is it the Ladd-Lake film noir The Glass Key? Everybody loves Hitchcock’s Notorious, but is it a great poster? William Holden holds The Key to unlock Sophia Loren’s heart; will the one-sheet do the same for you? Maybe you can’t refuse Anthony Perkins’ deranged offering? Or will you take Martin Scorsese’s Hugo up on its promise to “unlock the secret”? For me, the posters for The Glass Key, Notorious and Hugo are locks for the top spots; ultimately though The Glass Key is the right fit.
Which one do you think is the winner? Should I have included something else? Tell me about it below!
