The staff at Movies Unlimited has seen their fair share of films over the years, and while all movie buffs have their favorite comedies, dramas, etc., we thought it would be fun to create our own cinema sub-genres that are noteworthy, obscure and/or offbeat. Here, we put our heads together to present ten films that deal with filmmaking.

these films rule.
The Big Picture
I am not familiar with everything here, but surely the following are more on target than some listed and deserve just as much a place on any such list of classic "movies about movies"...
Hollywood Cavalcade (1939 USA)
Cinema Paradiso (1998 Italy)
Electric Shadows (2004 China)
...there are probably many more, but those titles leap to mind immediately.
