Don't forget Brotherhood which had 3 pretty solid seasons but was under the radar.. Can't wait for new seasons of Dex and Hank.. The other thing is that Showtime has everything On Demand so I can watch when I feel like it.... One other thing for NFL fans is Inside the NFL... I will miss Harry Kalas on NFL Films on that show...

I couldn't agree more! You've hit the nail right on the head with everyting you've said -- especially where Nancy is concered in "Weeds." And isn't she fascinating to watch? It just gets better with every season. I picked up watching it in season 3. Thank goodness someone bought me season 1 and 2 for my birthday. As I was readng your commentary, I realized I watch EVERY show you wrote about. Well, as I tell my friends, I LOVE television. Maybe I'll blog for you guys. You never know...

What, no mention of "Penn & Teller: Bullsh*t," perhaps the greatest TV public service since "Cosmos"? You are forgiven. 6FU set the cable drama bar pretty high...but I confess the appeal of "The Sopranos" completely eluded me.
