First of all, I'd like to staet that Natalie Gregory played Alice in the 1985 miniseries. At 3 hours and 3 minutes (!), it is the longest ALICE yet. I have a bookmark that I got from a bookstore just before this aired on CBS.
Second of all, you neglected to mention the 1981 TV special. At only 21 minutes, it compacted the story rather quickly, using limited animation. I doubt anyone but me has a VHS or DVD-RW copy!

Great set of articles!!! There is one additional TV version that's worth mentioning and that is the 1955 Hallmark Hall of Fame version that was originally broadcast live and in color though it now exists only in a black & white kinescope at the Museum of Television & Radio. I saw this last year and despite the fact that it suffers somewhat from the problems inherent in early live TV - it's pretty impressive. It's also based on the LeGallienne version and has a great cast of theatrical notables of the time. Well worth a look if you can manage it!!
