In the late 70's as a young professional actor in L.A., I was chosen for a lead role in a play called, "The Count" for which Stephen had written the entire score and conducted during all of our performances. I was fortunate to sing several numbers from Stephen's original score and still have the recordings. As you may think, Stephen was just as delightful, campy, excitingly unique, sensitive and funny as the music he wrote for our show. Audiences loved "The Count' and our talented staff, cast and crew became a wonderful family as we worked daily to fine tune our production. Stephen was always very kind and helpful to me and always let me know how pleased and proud he was of my performance. Those are great memories for me and I'm sure the same for all of my friends who had the good fortune of working on that show. If anyone would like to know more about that experience or would like to share thoughts, please contact me!

In the pre internet days I always wondered what happened to Stucker. He was one of my first searches on IMDB and was saddened to hear of his death.
