This week's new and notable releases include a collection of classic mysteries, Martin Scorsese's latest, a diverse assortment of season sets from some of your favorite TV shows, and much more. Let's take a look at the latest titles to hit DVD and Blu-ray, shall we?
TCM Spotlight: Charlie Chan Collection
This collection showcases an assortment of classic Charlie Chan tales: Fingerprints left at the scene of the crime prove three men's guilt in a bank robbery case...to everyone except Charlie Chan (Sidney Toler), that is, in the puzzling mystery "Dark Alibi" (1946). Benson Fong, Mantan Moreland also star. Crime on the high seas threatens Toler and #2 son Victor Sen Yung's trip to Australia in "Dangerous Money" (1946), with Gloria Warren and Willie Best. Toler's final turn as the Asian detective came in "The Trap" (1946), as he and Sen Yung visit Malibu to see who's killing members of a vacationing performing troupe. With Moreland, Tanis Chandler, Kirk Alyn. And when a princess is killed after bringing "The Chinese Ring" (1947) to him, Charlie (new Chan, Roland Winters) uncovers a plot to steal a million dollars meant for buying airplanes for China's defense. Sen Yung, Moreland, and Warren Douglas co-star.
Will Rogers, Jr. stars as his famous father in this affectionate biopic that traces the beloved entertainer's life, from his childhood on his father's ranch and early attempts at a career as a rodeo performer to his success with the Ziegfeld Follies, his humanitarian work, and his untimely death. Jane Wyman co-stars as Rogers' wife, Betty. With Slim Pickens, Noah Beery, Jr., James Gleason, and Eddie Cantor as himself; narrated by Bob Hope.

Set in 1954, Martin Scorsese's psychological thriller stars Leonardo DiCaprio as a U.S. marshal sent to investigate the disappearance of a patient from an asylum for the criminally insane located on an isolated island. But nothing is what it seems as DiCaprio finds himself embroiled in a labyrinthine mystery involving mind-control experiments, forcing him to wonder if he's really who he thinks he is. Ben Kingsley, Michelle Williams, Mark Ruffalo, Patricia Clarkson also star. Based on the novel by Dennis Lehane. Some viewers thought the movie's climax was ham-fisted. What did you think?

His mission brings him into contact with a junior-grade intelligence officer (Jonathan Rhys Meyers) who quickly finds his plum new assignment alongside the U.S. ambassador turning deadly when he is targeted by the bad guys. Why is the Kate Winslet movie "Jude" made in 1996 not available to purchase but can been seen on TV?
There's no definitive word on why Jude went out of print on DVD, but it's most likely due to various legal reasons. Your best bet is to keep checking http://www.moviesunlimited.com. If it gets re-released, we will have it for you!
