John Wayne, Harry Carey Jr. and Pedro Armmendariz 'Three Godfathers' is a wonderful off-beat Christmas story and twist on the three wise men and baby Jesus. There has been several versions, but this is the best.

Bill, I saw that TWILIGHT ZONE episode you're talking about, and it was a good one! There was also a remake of that episode for the 1980s version of TWILIGHT ZONE, with Richard Mulligan in the Art Carney role. That was good also.

but I like em'anyway: 1949's"Battleground"with James Arness;Van Johnson;Ricardo Montalban and James Whitmore.

Belgium.December 1944.A viscious Nazi counterattack has the 82nd Airborne trapped
behind enemy lines.

2001's Behind Enemy Lines.Right before Christmas,
Serbian Soldiers shoot down Owen Wilson's F/A18 Hornet and his CO Gene Hackman leads a rescue mission to save him.

Merry Christmas, everybody! My favorite Christmas story of all time is not on any of the listings, but I had to share it with everyone. In 1959 or 1960 Rod Serling's Twilight Zone did a half hour episode entitled THE NIGHT OF THE MEEK, starring the late, lamented Art Carney as a down-on-his-luck department store Santa, who wants to forget the commercial aspects of the time of year (sales for the store), and concentrate on the real meaning of the holiday. His performance is so heart-tuggingly beautiful, when he finds a magic bag that will give everyone what he wants for a Christmas present, even his flint-hearted ex-boss who asks for a rare brandy. If you are still dry-eyed at the end, when Art Carney's one Christmas wish comes true, for all time, you must be a Scrooge indeed. See, it, find it, buy it if you have to, but don't miss it. YergonnaLUVVIT. Comment, anybody? Bill
