It’s been 40 years since Ridley Scott<\/a>‘s Alien<\/a><\/em> redefined the moviegoing experience by combining an enthralling blend of science fiction and horror. It also featured a female protagonist (Siguourney Weaver<\/a> as the trailblazing space trucker Ellen Ripley), something that was groundbreaking at the time for genre films and paved the way for everything from Terminator 2: Judgment Day<\/a><\/em> to Captain Marvel<\/a><\/em>. <\/p>\n
