Starting his career in the late 1970s, appearing in projects like Neil Simon&#8217;s <em>The Goodbye Girl<\/em>, he first rose to national acclaim with his Emmy-winning performance in <em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.moviesunlimited.com\/the-guyana-tragedy-the-jim-jones-story\/089859850523\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">The Guyana Tragedy: The Jim Jones Story<\/a><\/em>. He worked constantly throughout his career, playing likable characters and heavies alike in projects like <em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.moviesunlimited.com\/southern-comfort\/826663150704\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">Southern Comfort<\/a><\/em>, <em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.moviesunlimited.com\/tombstone\/786936725247\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">Tombstone<\/a><\/em>, and the <em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.moviesunlimited.com\/sin-city-sin-city-uncut\/031398140559\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">Sin City<\/a><\/em> films. Recent years have had Boothe shining in high-profile TV roles like <em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.moviesunlimited.com\/search?mod=AP&#038;q=24&#038;de=2000s\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">24<\/a><\/em>, <em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.moviesunlimited.com\/deadwood-the-complete-series\/883929381692\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">Deadwood<\/a><\/em> and <em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.moviesunlimited.com\/search?q=agents+of+s.h.ie.l.d.&#038;mod=AP\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n<p>In light of his passing, we&#8217;d like you to tell us which of his performances was your favorite.
