Fellow monster fans, there’s a disturbing fact we must face around the same time each year: Few gift buyers immediately associate the post-Halloween holidays with horror movies! The everyday shopper can therefore be forgiven for not realizing that you’d be especially thrilled to receive one of your favorite chiller classics (past or present) in your stocking, or that mega-size gift set under the tree.
So, in the spirit of the holidays, I’m here to help you out and provide a service to relatives, longtime companions, and any other colleagues, best pals, or associates eager to please their beast fiends. Recently on our facebook page we asked our friends "What classic Christmas movie would you like to see in a movie theater?" After all, the idea of taking the family to the movies after a day of shopping to see the 1946 classic It's A Wonderful Life or the Bing Crosby and Danny Kaye (article) feature White Christmas would be a real holiday treat.

Movie Fans -- as Halloween approaches, we’ve decided to dig into the MovieFanfare Horror Movie archives crypt and dig up a few buried gems we've published in the past year or so.
Our first resurrection is a review of the 1963 classic horror movie, Kiss of the Vampire. Find out what happens to Gerald Harcourt and his wife Marianne as they run out of petrol in the midst of a dark Bavarian forest. First question to ask is why would anyone go to Bavaria on their honeymoon when they could have to Transylvania?
